The SecureFit is a new Safety Retaining Device.

Vision:
Infa-Secure's Research and Development team has identified the need for an improved method of safely retaining children in booster seats.

Background:
The serious risk of misuse of a child harness when used with a booster seat causes the safety of the child to be greatly reduced. This was identified during a program jointly carried out by the Prince of Wales Medical Research Institute and NSW Centre for Road Safety, and is documented in the report entitled "Accessory Child Safety Harnesses: Do the Risks Outweigh the Benefits?"

Crash Testing:
Comparative crash testing carried out to the requirements of AS/NZS 1754:2010 in frontal mode (TNO P3 and P6 Test Dummies) has shown the SecureFit to give improved safety features for your child's benefit, and your peace of mind.
- Enhances the protection of lap sash seat belt.
- Reduces upper torso rotation in a forward facing accident.
- Reduces head excursion in a forward facing accident.
- Reduces the incidence of submarining when used in conjunction with an Infa-Secure booster seat.
- Helps shield the lower abdominal region.
- Removes the common misuse associated with Accessory Child Harnesses.
- Suitable for children aged 4 to 7 years old.
- Only to be used with Infa-Secure booster seats (CS5310, CS5410, CS5610) & a lap sash seatbelt.
